About Esme
Esme Sinclair was born on April 2, 2009 at 1:01 EDT. She is the first child of Karen and Andrew Sinclair. She’s the also the first grandchild of Terry and Joan Sinclair, *and* she’s the first grandchild of Ed and Joanne Schouten.
Esme’s place of birth was Beth Israel hospital in the “Longwood” area of Boston. Longwood is like a little hospital city within Boston. It’s just down the street from where Andrew lived during law school, where Karen and Andrew met, and where Andrew’s sister Jenny lives now. The doctors, nurses, medical students, and coffee vendors have been wonderfully helpful and supportive, forming an unstoppable “team Esme”.
We’re still getting to know Esme. She seems very relaxed. Just taking in the world.
